The last day of September
I have completed my September project. It was fun and inspiring and stretched my creativity as well as my organizational skills. Of course, not a lot of housework got done around here but it can be done now. This is my last page. The inspiration was to scrap myself. I have to admit that this is my favorite page of the whole month. It just makes me happy to look at it. Simple but pretty. Curtis took this picture of me at Six Flags last weekend. I cropped it because the original has Seth escaping in the lower left corner of the photo. He was tired of pictures. LOL
Also, here I have included a picture of the completed book. I made a cover and back from chipboard, covered them with MME paper and bound it with my Bind It All. I chose the title after looking in the thesaurus for a word meaning "thoughts." I like that designs has a double meaning that includes art as well as the thought put into it.

Detta- One of my favorite things to do with my art is pack as much meaning into it as possible. I love that you talked about that in your post.
I also do this when I look at things- because then I can fid meaning in whatever my eyes see. With this mindset, I learn about life from everything... Thanks for reminding me!
This is just so beautiful and such an accomplishment! Thanks for sharing so much of yourself and creativity.
Your album looks great! I have enjoyed watching your daily LOs. I'll definitely be giving 6x12 a try soon!!
What a gorgeous album! Is it all about YOU? Your family?? Do you do this for every month?
Thanks for the comments, folks. For anyone who hasn't been along for this ride, this was a single month project. Every day during September, I chose a photo (mostly) from those I already had in my files and scrapped it. I chose a title and found an appropriate quote or journaled. I used only scraps except for the cardstock background. This is definitely not something I could do every month but it was very fun finding the quotes. If anyone else ever decides to do one, let me know.
Hey girl! I know I saw this already but can't believe I didn't leave a comment. I must've been pressed for time and only had time to visit but not comment.
I think this is amazing what you've done here. I especially love how you wrapped up the book with a l/o of yourself- so fitting. I know this was quite an endeavor, but now you have a treasure you can pass down to your girls- a glimpse of one month in the life of their beloved mom!
